Hello my friends and thank you so much for coming to read my blog post on this new moon in Cancer, here I will cover the energy that will be available to you during this new moon.

First of all, let me begin by saying Happy Birthday to all of my cancerian friends, may you have good health, happiness and luck over the coming year, This new moon blog post is for everyone-whether you are a cancer sign or not - it just means that those born under the sign of cancer may feel this new moon's energy effects more - but it has its way of manifesting into each of our lives - no matter your sign.

I feel that this month will not only have you looking inwards and perhaps feeling emotional but it will also bring a chance of healing, the sign of cancer is a cardinal sign which means they are ready for a fresh start, a new beginning, they pave their own way and that's exactly the energy that I feel will be available to you this month, looking deeper at what is causing insecurities, what is causing you stress or tension or perhaps even deeper... something from that past that is causing you to return to unhelpful coping mechanisms, behavioural patterns, detachment or retreating into your own shell, being ruled by the moon brings us that opportunity to look deeper at the shadow side and cast a light on it, to really see where we are holding on to what is no longer part of us, no longer who we are, you have the opportunity to grow into the person you are intended to be, there is this feeling of upleveling, I just had a visual of a crab losing is leg and then it grows again (two seconds whilst I google if that's right lol) ok, here's what google says.. "Yes, crabs can lose legs and then regenerate them. This ability, called regeneration, is a natural defense mechanism that allows crabs to shed injured or damaged limbs. The lost leg or claw will gradually regrow over multiple molting cycles"

So i feel there is something symbolic and meaningful coming through with that visual I had, that beginning again doesn't mean you're losing anything, your transforming into this new version of yourself, one who is prioritising yourself and your wellbeing, this is your time of regeneration, so trust your gut in how you're being called to regenerate and what this mean for you.

When you listen to your gut and prioritise what you know needs to happen or what it is that needs to change, that is when you may begin to notice significant changes in other areas of your life and things will begin to come together- especially in your home life.. Cancer signs are known to astrologers for how they prioritise their home and family life, and this may very well manifest itself to you this month.. how is your living situation? are you happy with your home? how are your family dynamics going? are they beneficial and meeting your emotional needs? Is there anything that needs to change? Ofcourse, when it comes to this area of your life (especially relationships) it will be completely different for everyone as relationships are intimate and personal whether its immediate family, distant family, partnership, dating, friendships or even acquaintances, this month may have you delving deeper into the different connections that you have and whether you need to let go and heal or whether it is time to really connect with them more or whether you need more of a supportive network around you.

(especially for those of us up North with the summer holidays about to begin, perhaps this month will bring a chance to spend more quality time with your children)
