Hello my friends and thank you so much for coming to read my blog post on this new moon in Gemini, here I will cover the energy that will be available to you during this new moon.

Let me begin this post by saying thank you so much to my loyal friends, clients and followers, your patience over these last few weeks has been so greatly appreciated whilst I was getting settled into my new home, words cannot put into detail just how much your support truly means to me, so once again - thank you so much!

I will begin by saying a very happy birthday to all of my gemini friends (I too am a Gemini) may this year bring you luck, health and happiness, now just to remind everyone - you do not have to be a gemini for this new moon post to be significant to you as we are all influenced by the sign the new moon is under, so you may find that what I say within this post manifests in its own unique way to you, private readings are where I can get more personal and specific to you but this post is a good way to set the tone for the energy ahead..

Be open to change, that is one of the most significant and powerful messages that is coming through with this new moon energy - just like the sign of gemini is a mutable sign meaning they are adaptable and live a life full of change, you too are being encouraged to release expectations and this heavy weight of any self imposed expectations that weigh heavily on your shoulders, now this may be a struggle for those of you who like predictability and consistency (even though I am a Gemini, I also have Virgo placements so I can totally relate to anyone who struggles with order) however your power comes when you realise that you never really have control, believing that you do is a way to try and convince yourself that "You've got this" but you really will be setting yourself up for disappointment if you live this way.. your real power comes when you learn and accept that life brings changes to not only challenge you, but opportunities to better yourself for your own growth and spiritual learning, that the only thing you can truly control is yourself... which brings me to my next topic for this month..

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and messages, not only spoken but also thought, so another challenge this month as your release control will be to pay attention to your thoughts, are your thoughts truly showing you for the person that you authentically are or are you allowing doubt, judgement or negativity to run riot in your thoughts, you can allow this new moon energy to welcome change into your life, where you stop the thought, analyse it and change it (this is a cognitive behavioural therapy technique known as thought stopping - if this is something you think will benefit you then it may be wise to google this further as there are plenty of techniques and examples found of the web that can help you - the internet does have positive uses)

Do not fear my friends, although these points I mentioned tend to focus on the challenges, it does in turn bring many positives this month, such as being able to step outside your comfort zone, stepping outside your day to day routine by saying yes to change will bring this breath of fresh air, and an abundance of new opportunities and blessings - the world is yours and it is time to seize the day and to become a social butterfly, yes you may find that allowing such changes to happen makes you nervous, uneasy or your heart skips a beat but that is how we know we are truly alive - when we learn to live and say yes to life, so have you been living or just existing? What do you want to change and what has been holding you back? Theses are questions to ask yourself because you have the opportunity this month to say yes to adventure and start something new.. (also a wee additional note i must add) When I was making the imagery for this new moon post (The image above) I was so drawn to that image, but it felt to me like your current self guiding your inner child - so some form of healing from your childhood may also be taking place this month.
