Hello my friends and thank you so much for coming to read my blog post on this new moon in Leo, here I will cover the energy that will be available to you during this new moon.

First of all, let me begin by saying Happy Birthday to all of my Leo born friends, may you have health, happiness and luck over the coming year, This new moon blog post is for everyone-whether you are a Leo sign or not - it just means that those born under the sign of Leo may feel this new moon's energy more - but this new moon energy has its way of manifesting into each of our lives - no matter your sign.

So the last new moon in Cancer definitely had a more collective energy to it - such as focusing on the relationships in your life and how best to work with others to achieve the common goal, whether that was with your significant other, family members or even colleagues.. if i remember correctly I may have even said in my last blog post that team work makes the dream work with the energy of the new moon in Cancer, whereas with this new moon in Leo that energy is shifting into "focusing on self" putting the same effort and energy that you give to others back into yourself (yes.. it is time to do more for yourself!)

Leo is a fire sign and fire signs are known for their courage, strength, determination and most of all.. passion, so have a wee think and ask yourself "in what areas of my life could I be doing with this energy" for some of you.. it may be the opposite of the energy that I have just described.. such as.. needing to take a time out, relaxing and resting, taking some much needed time to do something that will bring you joy and peace.. because after all, I did say that this month is "focusing on self" I just heard the word "boundaries" coming through too, so perhaps this Leo and new moon energy will call to you in ways that ask you to have some difficult (but much needed) conversations, especially if you are someone who dislikes confrontation, you may feel called to have an honest conversation on where your head is at and what is going on to lay those boundaries down for your own wellbeing, it may be tough but it might be what is needed to bring you peace.

A friendly reminder that "focusing on self" is best done in a grounded energy, you are not serving your highest self if you are doing something from your ego, for example.. doing something because you want social recognition, doing things because you want to feel superior or to boost your ego, the best way to focus on yourself is by listening to where your intuition and gut are telling you needs to attention, leading from a spiritual and open minded point of view rather than a materialistic one..

However there may be some of you who feel called to start something new this month and that's also ideal because fire signs are fixed signs which means they are committed to getting the job done and are dependable, this may also be the energy calling out to you and the best time time to take advantage of it however just proceed with caution as we are currently in a mercury retrograde and will be until 11th of August 2025, rather than seeing this mercury retrograde as "freeze, don't move" see it as "an opportunity to step back and to look at the bigger picture" and to find "where you are being called" to look in the mirror and find where we lack expressing our authentic self and how we can bring the sun back into our lives.
