Wait, what? .. You may be seeing this post and thinking.. Am I having deja vu? and you would be right to feel this way.. Last month was also a New Moon in Virgo! Meaning this year we get two new moons in Virgo! I will explain more below.. but firstly, I will begin by saying.. First of all, let me begin by saying Happy Birthday to all of my Virgo and also Libra born friends, may you have health, happiness and blessings over the coming year, This new moon blog post is for everyone-whether you are a Virgo sign or not - it just means that those born under the sign of Virgo may feel this new moon's energy more - but this new moon energy has its way of manifesting into each of our lives - no matter your sign.

So lets get into why we are having another new moon in Virgo.. so normally we only get one new moon per zodiac sign each year, since the new moon takes about 29.5 days to go from one new moon to the next, and the sun spends about 30 days in each zodiac sign. The energy that comes with this new moon is powerful as not only is it the second new moon in Virgo but it is also a solar eclipse, eclipses are like portals: they close old timelines and open new ones, often in ways that we cant fully control. The work begun at the August New Moon comes full circle. Here, that energy is tested at its highest vibration - devotion to truth, alignment, healing, and your soul purpose. Meaning spiritually, this is not only about personal routines but also sacred service and stepping into destiny. Spiritually it may feel like spirit is saying "Now that you've prepared, are you ready to embody your healing gifts and live in alignment with your higher self?

Together, these two new moons in Virgo act like a two part initiation, The August New Moon.. the invitation to plant the seeds to heal and become mindful, The second new moon.. The test and empowerment, whatever began in August could be dramatically shifted, expanded or redirected by destiny, spirit asks you to surrender and to trust the process. It's important to prioritise your own self care, your own healing and to practise mindfulness and patience with others so that new patterns of health, service and spiritual needs to place. This is your opportunity to reset and move onto a higher path or life upleveling.
